Exposure U Spotlight: Maximus Jerzee Carter

In this week's Exposure U Spotlight, we have the talented RB, Maximus Jerzee Carter, who has been making waves on the football field with his skills and determination. Maximus has been playing football for six years and currently represents the Broken Arrow Black team.

One of Maximus' most memorable moments in his football career so far has been being a part of the winning team, INFC, in the year 2020. Contributing to his team's success, Maximus describes his role in the offense as a running back who brings the heat and runs right at you.

What sets Maximus apart from other players in his position is his relentless work ethic. He prides himself on being one of the hardest working kids on and off the field. Maximus prepares himself mentally and physically before a game by watching "Friday Night Tykes" to get his head in the game. He also stretches and soaks in his dad's concoction.

This season, Maximus has set ambitious goals for himself and the team. He aims to score 29 touchdowns and help his team reach the championship game and secure a win. When it comes to handling pressure situations during games, Maximus emphasizes the importance of staying focused and keeping a cool head.

As an offensive player, Maximus' proudest achievement has been scoring six touchdowns in a single game. He constantly works on improving his skills by training with his dad, who designs unique exercises involving jumps and different stop-and-go movements.

Maintaining good chemistry with teammates on the field is crucial for Maximus. They encourage and cheer hard for each other's great plays. Maximus and his dad have a pre-game ritual of watching "Friday Night Tykes," which has become their jam. His favorite season is Season 3.

Motivated to be the best and achieve his goal of going D1 and eventually making it to the NFL, Maximus constantly strives to perform at a high level. When faced with setbacks or failures, he reminds himself to take it one play, one action, and one game at a time, making the most of each opportunity.

For young football players aspiring to excel on the offensive side of the game, Maximus advises them to work hard and emphasizes that effort and attitude are two of the best factors in becoming great.

Maximus expresses his love and support for his team, the BA Tigers, and thanks them for being part of his football journey and experiences.

Congratulations to Maximus Jerzee Carter for being this week's Exposure U Spotlight athlete, and good luck to him in all his future games!
